After School Program
Grades K–5· After school (school days)
Carver Community Center offers a comprehensive afterschool program for students K-5, providing a safe and enriching environment. Activities include snack time, art, tutoring, robotics, chess club, video gaming, instrument lessons, open gym, dance, and more. Membership is required to participate.
Closing the Gap
Youth· June – Early July
Led by Director Cheryl Simmons, Closing the Gap is a summer education program designed to keep young minds active and help students build confidence as they prepare for the next school year. With licensed teachers and skilled paraprofessionals, the program provides small-group learning in core subjects to reinforce and advance academic skills. Operates June – Early July (exact dates announced annually), 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
